Details : Among animals, peacocks tend to bring the greastest degree of joy and liveliness to the world. They are unique in their sounds and colorful plumage, some of which displays exquisite designs. For this reason, they have been praised as symbols of beauty. Stories about peacocks appear in the paintings, poems and beliefs of people in many countries.

Peacocks belong to the same family as pheasant. There are two species---one found in Africa; for example the Congo peacock, and the other found in Asia and are divided into two kinds---Indian or blue peacocks and Thai or green peacocks.

Not too bad, but better if shown in its natural surrounding instead of a white background.

I understand there is some stampfair in Bangkok during the first week of August. Is this correct ?

Yes now have stamp fair in Bangkok for celebate 125th Anniversary of Thai Postal services (04 Aug 1883) from 01 Aug - 10 Aug 2008 @ QSNCC.

Ye , Ok I remember that , please note that this post ,mark will be sent out from Suvanaphumi Mail Center Post office. In Thailand only Suvanaphumi Mail Center Post office use A.C. post mark date.

Thai Stamp Fair seems to be rather grand .. Is it some sort of a National Exhibition Event ?
