New stamp issue from the World

SINGAPORE HISTORICAL RAILWAY STATIONS

Postby cwwong » 23 Mar 2013 01:20

A most unexpected issue on 28th February. Beautiful railway/architectural thematic, the buildings featured are icons in the Singapore landmark. However, still a surprise because basically the stations were owned by KTM and not by any Singapore entity so this issue transcend political boundaries. Also a very informative write-up in the pamphlet accompanying.

Like the photos on this one, though I generally do not like stamps with photos.
This set appears to bring out the best charms of an earlier era.
