Singapore - New High Value definitives

Postby lionheart » 17 Feb 2011 12:08

Singapore Post is issuing a new set of definitive stamps this year on the theme of Pond Life. The High Value stamps were issued yesterday, but if you want the stamps, you would have to ask for them specifically at the post offices as they are still selling the previous definitives as the current stamps.

Lionheart,

Thanks for the information.
It is kind of hard to see from the scans but can you tell what the face values are?

Cheers

The face values are $1.10, $2, $5 and $10.

The low values of this set will be issued in April, don't know whether there's going to be frog(s) and dragonflies or not. I think we had the dragonfly on the 5c stamp in 1986, or was that the damselfly?

The 5c stamp has a damselfly Ceriagrion cerinorubellum and the $5 stamp has a dragonfly Trithemis aurora. :)
