A slight shift on the right hand pane, I would say this is a minor perf error.

I don't know. May i have some idea from the specialists ? I have 2 sheets. 1 already cut-off block of 6.

Actually, i just want to buy block of 6, when i arrived my home and start put it into folder found this error and quickly turn back to that Post Office, that time only leave 1 sheet with the error and the remaining sheet which already sold block of 6 to me. Others was normal stamps only :D So ... lucky day to purchase the shifted error stamps.

Do any body seen this before ? :?:

You should keep the 1 sheet intact and don't break it down. You should keep it for your future exhibition maybe about errors in bird stamps!

Thanks for sharing this discovery as only members in this forum will get to know about this error and we will all go out and hunt for it!

The sad news for you is that if we can find many pieces of error of such, then your error stamp will not be so valuable  ! But if you don't share this information with us, you won't get to know whether there are more of such error stamp in the circulation?! Maybe there are such knowledge already and these collectors are quietly going around hunting for it and hope to make a killing when there is no more to be found! Then the price will be high! But I would rather have this knowledge being shared with all members in this forum so that everybody got a chance to get at least a piece of it. For those who can't get it, then the one that has it could maybe share at least 1 piece with the rest. With this unselfish attitude, collectors will be happy as they can then expand their collection and share what they have especially to people who has just started to get them interested to seriously start or continue collecting. Then you as a collector will be happy also as you are able to have a wide-spectrum or varieties of stamps issued in Malaysia. It makes your hobby far more interesting and enriching! Our aim is to get as many people to collect stamp as a good and relaxing hobby! It is a collective win-win-win situation for all!

When people ask, how do you get to know about the error, tell them that it is PSM forum and then you encourage them to join this forum which is free and so much knowledge, information, tips, etc. can be found and attained! Be proud of the fact that being a member here means you are one of the ELITE member of stamp collectors in Malaysia. You will be even be more proud if you can tell the others that you are a registered member of PSM! The earlier you joined as a member of PSM is better for you as the membership number is a running number. The smaller the number means that you are the earlier member. When you have children later or when your children has grown up and started to have interest in philatelic, then you should poudly show your PSM membership card to them! Yes, you will get a membership card. By the way, my membership card number is 4430 OR to show that I am a member. I joined and was officially accepted and registered on 20/09/2005. So for those who has not joined PSM, I encourage you to do so :) !

Alex,

:D I joint PSM early than you. My membership card no. is 3225 officially accepted and registered on 30 Jul 1994. But now just act as non-active member after annual subscription expires on 30 June 1997.

Aiyah! You joined earlier than me :( ! But I congratulate you for joining so much earlier! Why don't you join back as PSM member as I noticed that you are active in this forum and as well as eBay? This is to show your support to PSM who provided this forum and also putting much efforts in promoting stamp collecting in Malaysia :P !

For a little contribution on your end, you will end-up winning more as PSM has many plans but lack the funds to do it. One of PSM target is to have the money and support (in the form of sponsor) to buy more exhibition frames so that we can organize more local exhibitions so that we all have a chance to exhibit our proud and precious collections! Why just keep it under lock and key? Show us and the world what you have! Also with more frames and thereafter exhibitions, it will enable us all to practice exhibiting and learn along the way. I am sure there are many experienced Exhibitors who will be willing to guide or teach us!

So please seriously consider joining us back and support PSM and indirectly to the local stamp collectors community :!:
