Hello Everyone,

I'm Kevin and am new here. I was introduced to this group by my mum not too long ago earlier.

My interest in stamp begin when my mother passed me a collection of stamps from my late grand-father. I joined the stamp society in my primary school and begin collecting stamp... everything stop after primary school until now when my mum introduced this group to me. Hope this can kick-start my interest again :)

Heard that you all do meet up on Tuesday and Saturday weekly. Is it open to public?

Hope to learn from you all :)

Best regards,
Tan Tiam Loong (Kevin)

p/s. I wonder how are my stamps worth? Have to begin digging around the house again...:) till then

Gong Xi Fa Cai and a Happy Chinese New Year to all of you.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Roland Correa and am presently residing in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. I am originally from India, but have spent most of my adult life in the UAE. Stamp collecting has been a hobby for me since I was about 15 years of age, but I had given up collecting for a period of 15 years between 1992 to 2007, having being drawn towards PCs and the multitude of available software applications and games. Since 2007 I have been actively collecting, and to date have 'almost' complete collections of about 30+ countries in addition to Omnibus/Thematic issues. The missing stamps are of course the most expensive ones. 99.9% of my collection is in MNH condition, and most of them are housed in Lighthouse/Davo/Schaubek/Lindner/Palo hingeless albums.

I recently started collecting Malaysian stamps, and have a fairly good collection from 1963-2012. By joining this forum I hope to hopefully complete this country by purchasing the remaining stamps through members.

Warm regards to all of you,
Roland

Hi Roland,

Welcome to the PSM Forum and thanks for
introducing yourself. Your story sounds familiar to most stamp collectors -
we start off at some young age, then focus on other things for a decade or two,
followed by a second wind at philately; sometimes in a small way and sometimes in a big way.

Hope you get some responses with your want list.

Regards
Andrew

Hi, my name is Emelia, I joint this forum four months ago and ready enjoy reading all the posts and some interesting comments.

I'm just a small time collector and I collect anything that come me. I've collecting on and off couple of times due to family and work commitment, with my limited knowledge I do hope I can gain more from here.

Currently I just concentrate on Malaysia and Singapore stamps and FDCs. Mostly I source local stamps from post office.

Emy

Good Day to you all from Australia.

I am trying hard to complete my FDC collection of a cover producer named Overseas Mailers.
Overseas Mailers (OM) was a New York USA cover maker that printed covers for many countries.
The covers were made from 1949 to 1978.

One of the covers OM made was for Malaya in 1955.
I have covers from 110 countries that OM produced but I am missing 3 countries.
One of these three countries is Malaya.

I will post on this Forum details of that cover.

Thank you for reading my message and best wishes.
